Flying from China to Ethiopia
Ethiopian Airlines, the African leading carrier, proposes 34 weekly flights. 5 direct flight routes notably connect China (Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Hong-Kong and Shanghai) to Ethiopia (Addis Ababa).
A new USD 4 billion Ethiopian airport will enter into service in 2024. The New Addis Ababa International Airport will have a capacity of 120 million passengers per year.
Prior to entry, all foreign visitors must have
A valid health certificate for yellow fever
Been vaccinated against cholera (applicable only if the person visited a cholera-infected area within 6 days prior to arrival in Ethiopia).
A visa is required for foreign visitors coming to Ethiopia. Foreigners that want to apply for a work permit have to obtain first a business visa.

In order to get an investment visa, potential investors coming for the first time in Ethiopia have to submit a support letter from the Ethiopian Investment Commission or the nearest Embassy of Ethiopia. Travelers that are already engaged in investment activities in Ethiopia have to provide the following documents

Obtaining a work permit
Work permits are delivered by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. Permits are usually issued for a period of three years and must be renewed every year. Requirements to obtain a work permit are the following
